Burges
Just a 20-minute train ride from Zeebrugge port lands you in the heart of Bruges—a city where medieval magic, mouth-watering chocolate, and world-class Belgian beer flow as freely as its winding canals. Wander past storybook windmills, cosy up in a café for a Trappist brew, and lose yourself in the cobblestone lanes lined with artisan chocolatiers. Bruges is your one-day ticket to a city dripping in charm and packed with sights and sips you won’t forget anytime soon.

Cheers!
Try one of the many beers from the many bars across the city. Each brewery proudly serves its own brew in a unique glass!
Shell yeah, let's feast!
A must-do! We tried Moules-frites, the iconic Belgian dish, with a glass of wine and a small pot of Flemish beef stew. Dip the frites in the stew - you won't regret it! We stopped by at Molenpoort - right on the canal.
I've got a golden ticket!
There's little chocolate factories all over the city, be sure to step inside and sample. We can personally recommend Jean de Bruges
Get blown away!
Sitting proudly on the outside of the city walls are four windmills. Some of them including Saint-Janshuismolen still produce flour!

There isn't too much to do in the port itself. Bruges is a 15-20 min train journey away, or head west to Blankenberge for a more lively town and beaches.
A to Bruges
Right! Dont go buying the expensive transfers onboard, the ones from the vendors in port or getting a private transfer! Walk 15 mins to Zeeburgge-Dorp station will zip you into Bruges in 15 mins. You can buy tickets in advance from SNCB, Trainline (uk), on the platform, or onboard. Our cruise line provided transfers to Blankenberge too, where you can also get the train. Both stations have a train every hour, there may be more in the summer months.
