When sailing in Alaska Holland America is one of the only cruise lines to allow you onto the bow to experience the glacier's up close. They're on hand with dutch pea soup, hot chocolate (we took ours with amaretto!)
Sea Daze
Spend those long sea days (not long enough if you ask us!) perched high above the wake in the outdoor Sea View pool, with panoramic views over the aft of the ship.

Pull up a chair at the Grand Dutch Cafe. Try popular bar bites such as bitterballen, Kibbeling, Kroket or something sweet like a Bossche Bollen.
World's Stage
Really immense yourself in the action. Nieuw Statendam's stage is surrounded by floor to ceiling LED screens, so you become part of the story. Dont Miss their Origins Story or BBC Earth live in concert.

The Lido pool is always open and dry as a bone... unless you make a splash. Find the Lido bar, New York Deli and Pizza, Dive-In and Panorama bar here too. Movies are shown on the LED screens too - pass the popcorn!
